The Bible tells us that God created an earthly kingdom like the heavenly one. He created mankind, we are his sons and daughters, to rule and reign on earth with full authority. They were told to take dominion over every living thing on earth, to subdue it, and to multiply mankind to fill the earth.

History reveals that humanity was given “free will” to align with God’s will or make their own decisions. The consequence of a very bad decision, the Bible calls SIN, separated mankind from God. Satan took advantage of man’s poor choice, and by deceit stole their authority, and he became the prince of this earth.

Although mankind separated themselves from God, He never gave up on them. God worked in the hearts of his people that they would turn back to Him. Yet then and now they struggle to find their identity, destiny, and purpose outside of God. Few turn to the God of the Bible for answers.

Fast forward, God sent Jesus Christ, his only son, to reconcile mankind with their Heavenly Father. When Jesus came to earth, he told everyone who would listen, “repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” Jesus Christ, by his life, sacrificial death on the cross, and resurrection paid the price to redeem mankind from sin and reconcile humanity back to God their Heavenly Father. For all who choose to believe, life in the Kingdom of God is available.
