Prior to the day that changed our lives, we considered ourselves TRUTH SEEKERS. Looking for identity and purpose among various religions, cults, and spiritual practices we had spent decades chasing after truth and meaning. When our personal life turned upside down, we realized we were confused and totally lost!

Our search came to an end September 29, 1986, when we discovered that the truth was found in a relationship with ONE PERSON. That’s when we accepted JESUS CHRIST as our Lord and Savior. We began our discipleship journey days after our initial acceptance of the God of the Bible and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Over the years our knowledge, faith and trust in God grew. In 1992 we wrote a discipleship series called the Spirit Led Life. We taught the lessons in small groups for many years. We served in various ministries, especially by leading home fellowship groups and teaching them how to grow in faith and knowledge of God through the practical application of the Bible.

In December, 2022, God began speaking to our hearts through His Holy Spirit. He prompted us to write a new discipleship series which became KINGDOM ENCOUNTER DISCIPLESHIP – workbook and manual. It was published in July, 2023, as the first group was completing the sessions.  This curriculm is designed to complete over 6-8 months with each lesson completed by the individual prior to meeting to discuss it with their group. This curriculum is still used and completed on a very disciplined schedule. We have found that due to time constraints for people with busy lives, many lessons do not receive the attention they deserve.  From the beginning we have sought a solution that would overcome discussion time limitations.

In February, 2026, again God clearly prompted Michele to rewrite, and update, the 12 lessons from KINGDOM ENCOUNTER DISCIPLESHIP into a Bible Study format.  So that these lessons could be taught and discussed in home group settings, or bible study classes with a flexible time schedule.  We suggest assigning a few pages prior to each meeting, and guiding students to encounter the Kingdom of God as they learn to apply the lesson to their life. Especially, taking whatever length of time necessary to complete a lesson before moving to the next.
